Room Leader

About the role

Only About Children is seeking a caring, assured, and team-oriented Preschool Room Leader for its Bridgeman Downs campus. In this position, you will shape the day-to-day flow of the Preschool room, support purposeful teaching, and contribute to a safe, welcoming, play-led environment that encourages children to feel secure, engaged, and eager to learn.

About the campus

The Bridgeman Downs campus is purpose-built with light-filled indoor learning areas suited to different age groups, along with generous outdoor spaces that invite exploration, active movement, and imaginative play. The campus includes three Preschool rooms, a committed group of educators and allied health specialists, and the play-based Grow Curriculum to help children learn and develop well each day.

The service also offers freshly prepared seasonal meals made on site, an inclusive offering for families, and a community-centered atmosphere aligned with The OAC Way.

What we are looking for

• A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or an ACECQA-approved equivalent
• Previous experience leading or supporting a Preschool room
• Sound knowledge of the EYLF and the National Quality Framework
• A genuine interest in designing meaningful learning through play
• A positive, collaborative style when working with others
