Revenue Analyst

Role Overview

MakeMyTrip is hiring a Revenue Analyst at the Assistant Manager or Deputy Manager level in Gurgaon. This role reports to the Associate Director – Airline Contracting and sits within the Flights Supply function, which supports both domestic and international flight operations.

About the Function

The Flights Supply team plays a key role in the Air business by onboarding airline partners, nurturing strategic relationships, and contributing to revenue growth. The team works across MakeMyTrip and Goibibo, two major travel booking brands under the MMT Group.

What You Will Do

• Monitor core business metrics every day and help automate reporting through dashboards and recurring reports.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and prioritize information and business needs.
• Build interactive visualizations by spotting trends and combining inputs from multiple data sources.
• Apply statistical methods to study data, uncover patterns in customer or business behavior, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and output.
• Maintain the quality and reliability of operational reports, and fix issues related to data accuracy or presentation.
• Turn insights into action by planning experiments, adjusting operational levers, and measuring the results.
• Own and support strategic initiatives that have a strong business impact.
• Work with leadership to refine priorities based on changing data insights and business requirements.

Qualification and Experience

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Statistics, along with 4 to 7 years of relevant experience.

Key Skills and Success Factors

Success in this role depends on strong command over advanced SQL and Excel, comfort with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Adobe Omniture, and the ability to work with large datasets accurately and carefully. Familiarity with BI platforms such as Power BI or QlikView is important, along with the ability to create complex queries, prepare reports, and communicate insights clearly. Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills are also needed. A good understanding of statistics and experience with tools or languages such as SPSS, SAS, R, or Python is preferred.
