About the role

Woolworths Supermarkets New Zealand is looking for a Retail Assistant to help keep the store running smoothly and deliver a great shopping experience. The role is based in Feilding, Manawatū-Whanganui, New Zealand and is temporary and onsite.

What you will do

• Be a visible and approachable presence on the shop floor, offering tailored help and handling customer questions or complaints quickly.
• Support store accuracy through stock checks, stocktakes, inventory control, and careful completion of pricing checks.
• Receive deliveries accurately and on time, while helping keep the store clean, tidy, and well presented.
• Work closely with the wider team to keep daily operations running efficiently and help the store meet its goals.
• Follow safety procedures, report any hazards, and complete tasks in line with company policies and legal obligations.
