This is a project-based research and development opportunity for PhD-qualified specialists in science and engineering. Compensation
The stated pay range is €3,000 to €8,000 per month for a part-time or temporary arrangement.
Core responsibilities
The role involves leading and supporting R&D initiatives in selected priority areas, including biomedical science, physics, artificial intelligence, computer science, chemistry, materials science, imaging, new energy batteries, autonomous driving, industrial software, drones, automation, rail transit, geographic information surveying, and mechanical manufacturing.
You will also be expected to provide technical input, shape experimental approaches, and solve problems that help move projects toward key milestones. Remote coordination with multidisciplinary teams is required so that research outcomes can be connected to commercial use cases. In addition, the work includes supporting patentable ideas and contributing to technology transfer efforts.
Profile sought
The client is looking for professionals with a PhD in a science or engineering field aligned with one or more of the areas listed above. A minimum of 3 years of post-PhD experience is preferred, whether gained in industry, academia, or R&D organizations.
Applicants should be able to work independently in a remote environment, manage project timelines effectively, and demonstrate strong capability in at least one specialist area such as AI algorithms, battery research and development, or autonomous systems.
