Research Analyst

Role overview

We are looking for a meticulous and insight-driven Research Analyst to help turn raw information into practical recommendations for business planning. The position focuses on gathering, evaluating, and interpreting both qualitative and quantitative data across industries, markets, and internal functions so teams can make informed choices around strategy, investments, product direction, and growth.

Core duties

In this position, you will use a mix of primary and secondary research methods, such as reports, databases, surveys, and industry publications. You will build research frameworks, collect and verify data, study trends and patterns, and translate findings into clear takeaways. The role also involves producing reports, dashboards, and presentations that summarize insights and recommendations for stakeholders. You will contribute to market research, competitor comparisons, industry monitoring, and performance assessment while working closely with teams in product, marketing, finance, and strategy. Ongoing tasks also include keeping research databases up to date, refining collection methods, and making sure outputs remain accurate, consistent, and reliable.

Education

A bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Social Sciences, or a similar field is required.

Other requirements

Applicants should have a genuine interest in research, data analysis, and evidence-based decisions. Exposure to research methods, data collection practices, and statistical ideas is helpful, as is familiarity with market research, financial analysis, or industry analysis. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, is needed. Experience with analytics tools, databases, or data visualization software is beneficial. Candidates must also bring strong critical thinking, problem-solving, written and verbal communication, and presentation skills. The ability to organize and interpret structured and unstructured data, maintain accuracy, work independently, collaborate within a structured setting, and stay adaptable and eager to learn is important.
