About the Role

Are you passionate about making a meaningful impact through community-driven fundraising? As a Regional Development Officer, you will play a vital role in empowering and supporting local volunteer fundraising Branches across the Leinster region. Working closely with the Fundraising Team Lead, you’ll be the key catalyst behind successful events, volunteer recruitment, and fundraising campaigns, helping Branches thrive and achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and nurture robust relationships with volunteer Branches, ensuring their needs are met and supporting their event applications.
  • Partner with the Fundraising Team Lead and local Branches to guarantee the success of fundraising events, campaigns, and projects.
  • Spearhead initiatives for volunteer recruitment, training, and development to foster sustainable Branch capacity and succession planning.
  • Oversee income targets and manage complete profit and loss responsibilities for volunteer Branches within the designated region.
  • Leverage CRM and business intelligence tools for activity tracking, outcome reporting, and identifying new fundraising prospects.

Key Requirements

  • Demonstrate a proven background in sales, fundraising, or community development, with a history of achieving targets.
  • Possess outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities, capable of motivating volunteer communities and fostering effective collaboration.
