Role overview

Canucks Sports & Entertainment (CSE) is hiring a Receptionist to join its Event Services department in Vancouver. In this term position, you will serve as the initial contact for visitors and callers at the Aquilini Centre West Tower and support the wider Event Services team with administrative tasks. The role focuses on delivering a polished, welcoming, and efficient experience to the public, internal teams, clients, and VIP guests.

This assignment runs from July through September 2026, with a possibility of extension. The job remains open until it is filled.

Key duties

  • Welcome visitors and handle incoming callers at the 89 West Georgia reception area in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Coordinate the Rogers Arena tour schedule, bookings, and staff coverage so tours run smoothly.
  • Support Fan Services by managing email and phone inquiries across the relevant communication channels.
  • Operate the switchboard by answering, screening, transferring, and documenting messages accurately and courteously.
  • Organize incoming and outgoing courier activity.
  • Help manage break and vacation coverage within the CSE intern program.
  • Send the daily cafeteria menu to building tenants.
  • Monitor and maintain the Reception inbox, replying to requests as needed.
  • Keep filing systems and contact databases orderly and up to date.
  • Assist with other administrative work as required.
