One&Only The Palm in Dubai is looking for a Public Area Attendant to join its housekeeping team. This role is central to keeping shared guest spaces spotless, safe, and inviting throughout the resort. The position supports the brand’s high standards of presentation, service, and guest care.

What You Will Do

As a Public Area Attendant, you will help maintain all public-facing areas of the resort to the required standards. Your work will include guest interaction, cleanliness, stocking amenities, and supporting daily housekeeping operations. You will be expected to protect guest privacy, follow hygiene and safety practices, and represent the brand with professionalism at all times.

• Welcome guests in public spaces with a courteous and professional attitude.
• Respond quickly when guests need assistance.
• Keep shared spaces such as lobbies, corridors, restrooms, entrances, and other guest areas clean and presentable.
• Remove litter, dust surfaces, and maintain overall cleanliness in busy areas.
• Check and maintain cleanliness in high-traffic zones and washrooms throughout the day.
• Restock restroom essentials such as tissues, soap, paper towels, and similar items.
• Arrange furniture, fixtures, and fittings in line with brand presentation standards.
• Immediately report damage, repair needs, or any safety concern to the supervisor.
• Use cleaning tools and equipment correctly and store them properly after use.
• Keep storage spaces tidy, organized, and sufficiently stocked.
• Follow all hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety rules.
• Respect guest confidentiality and privacy at all times.
• Comply with grooming guidelines and uniform requirements.

Experience and Requirements

The ideal candidate should have 1–2 years of experience in a luxury 5-star hotel or resort. A solid understanding of housekeeping practices and hygiene standards is required. You should present yourself well, work effectively as part of a team, and ensure that public areas remain clean and well maintained. Strong English communication skills are necessary, and knowledge of additional languages will be an advantage.
