Role overview
This position is being recruited for a Haystack partner. The selected professional will lead construction-focused work tied to upgrades and modifications of existing infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on data center environments.
What you will do
- Oversee construction-related tasks involved in changing and improving existing infrastructure.
- Own the project’s scope, schedule, and budget from end to end.
- Manage projects aimed at improving data center resilience.
- Carry out electrical design work and related reviews for data center optimization efforts.
- Examine construction and project package drawings, then translate them into project scopes, RFPs, and capital requests.
- Maintain overall project quality, including building commissioning plans and supervising their execution.
What you need
- A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Hands-on experience managing vendors.
- Background working in a data center or another mission-critical setting.
- Experience in data center engineering or operations.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel.
