Role overview
In this position, you will help shape and evolve the product configuration setup for surge arresters. The work takes place in a highly technical environment with established systems and many interdependencies. Your day-to-day focus will be on learning existing configuration logic, understanding how it is structured, and developing it further in a disciplined way. You will collaborate closely with R&D, PLM, Sales, and Engineering. While support is available, you are expected to explore topics independently, question underlying connections, and create practical solutions on your own.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance the surge arrester portfolio within the configuration tool.
- Examine existing configuration logic and bring structure to it.
- Contribute to the rollout and design of a new configuration tool.
- Coordinate and work with the relevant specialist departments.
- Support quotation and order handling processes.
What you should bring
- Completed degree in electrical engineering or a closely related field.
- Strong technical understanding and the ability to grasp complex topics in a structured manner.
- High level of independence and a careful working style.
- Persistence when dealing with demanding and complex tasks.
- Very good German language skills for day-to-day coordination.
