Overview
Our client is hiring a President to steer and expand its U.S. operations for a global events agency based in North Carolina. This senior leadership position carries end-to-end responsibility for business strategy, commercial results, day-to-day operations, client satisfaction, and people leadership.
The ideal candidate is an experienced live-events leader who has built strong teams, managed profit and loss ownership, handled major client partnerships, and delivered high-quality experiences at scale. In this role, you will guide a senior cross-functional group across operations, creative, finance, business development, and marketing while defining the company’s next phase of growth.
Key responsibilities
- Own the full P&L, including revenue, margin management, forecasting, pricing, and growth planning.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing leadership team and a strong workplace culture.
- Improve operational efficiency and create scalable processes and ways of working.
- Strengthen sales and marketing performance with clear, measurable business outcomes.
- Raise the standard of client experience and event delivery quality.
- Work closely with international stakeholders to expand capabilities and unlock new growth opportunities.
Candidate profile
The business is seeking a leader with substantial experience in live events, experiential marketing, conferences, or communications. You should bring strong commercial judgment, proven financial accountability, and a history of growing teams while improving business performance.
You will also need a solid understanding of operations across production, delivery, and client services, along with a well-established industry network and a visible reputation in the market.
Compensation and benefits
The role offers a salary of $190,000 to $220,000, plus bonus potential and full benefits.
