Description de l'emploi

Role overview

Ryanair, the largest airline group in Europe, is looking for a driven and proactive PR & Communications Executive to join its Communications Team. The position is key to building media attention across Europe and supporting major business goals, including the introduction of new routes and bases and advocacy around policy changes. Success in this role calls for a hands-on mindset, quick thinking, strong personal initiative, the ability to handle several priorities at once, and a sharp eye for detail. A strong curiosity about current events and news will also be valuable.

The role is based at the Dublin head office and reports to the PR & Communications Manager. This is a strong time to come on board as the company continues toward its growth target of more than 800 aircraft and 300 million passengers annually by 2034.

Key responsibilities

  • Support delivery of the communications plan across the 36 countries in which the company operates.
  • Handle incoming press enquiries and draft media responses.
  • Write press releases, presentations, and other media-facing materials, making sure they are delivered on time and without errors.
  • Organise media activities and important stakeholder events.
  • Arrange interview opportunities and prepare briefing packs for senior leadership.
  • Work with internal teams to collect information that strengthens communications output.
  • Track media coverage and assess the reach and impact of press activity.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a similar area, whether in-house or agency-side.
  • Proven ability to stay organised and operate effectively in a fast-moving, demanding environment while managing several projects at once.
  • Strong written, editing, and spoken communication skills.
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally when needed.
  • Interest in aviation is not mandatory, but it would be an advantage.

Benefits

  • Attractive compensation package
  • Unlimited discounted travel to more than 230 destinations
  • Defined contribution pension arrangement
  • Death-in-service cover of up to 2 times annual basic salary
  • 20 days of annual leave, rising to 22 days after 12 months and 25 days after 3 years of continuous service
  • Option to take up to 5 extra unpaid leave days each year
  • Cycle to Work scheme
  • Strong long-term career growth opportunities
