PKI Operations Specialist

Role overview

We are looking for a PKI Operations Specialist in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to manage the daily execution of certificate lifecycle activities and the operational controls that keep PKI services running smoothly. This position focuses on hands-on operations such as workflows, documentation, evidence capture, and readiness tasks, and is different from a PKI Administrator role.

What you will do

• Carry out certificate issuance, renewal, revocation, suspension, and related operational steps.
• Follow approved procedures, checklists, and runbooks for all assigned tasks.
• Track CRL and OCSP operational activities and maintain the associated records.
• Assist with planning and preparing for key ceremonies and other controlled operational activities.
• Watch the operational health of PKI services and raise incidents when required.
• Keep logs, audit trails, and supporting evidence up to date.
• Create MIS and operational reports and help respond to audit requests.
• Coordinate with compliance, PKI administration, and security teams during reviews and incidents.

What we are looking for

The ideal candidate should bring at least 3 years of experience in PKI operations, certificate operations, security operations, or other controlled IT operations. A solid grasp of certificate lifecycle concepts is important, along with strong discipline in documentation, procedures, and accuracy.

Preferred background

• Prior exposure to CA or RA operations.
• Experience working with HSM-enabled environments.
• Familiarity with WebTrust, ETSI, or similar regulated operating models.
• Background in audited environments with strong control requirements.
