Role overview
As a Payroll Specialist (gn), you will take on a central position in payroll operations and contribute directly to the employee experience. You will join an HR team within a growing global technology and cloud company, with a particular focus on payroll activities for Switzerland and on continuously refining internal processes.

Key responsibilities
- Prepare payroll in advance for around 300 employees in Switzerland.
- Maintain and update all payroll-related information, including new hires, exits, contract changes, absences, allowances, and one-off payments.
- Track and validate working time, vacation, and other leave records.
- Act as the link to the external payroll provider and work closely with HR and Finance.
- Keep employee master data up to date in the HR system.
- Create evaluations, reports, and statistical analyses.
- Serve as a contact person for employees with payroll-related questions.
- Coordinate closely with the local payroll provider.
What the role requires
- Completed commercial training or a degree in business administration or a related field.
- Practical experience in payroll, ideally with a strong interest in Swiss payroll and social insurance topics.
- Experience with DATEV would be an advantage.
- A collaborative mindset combined with the ability to work independently, take ownership, and stay organized.
- A friendly, persuasive manner and strong service orientation.
- The ability to identify issues and improve processes.
- Fluent German and good English skills.
