Role Overview

The Pastefill Attendant will help support, maintain, and oversee pastefill-related activities at the site.

Timmins, Ontario

Work Schedule

The role follows a 5x5x4 rotation.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, remove, and replace air, water, sump, and paste line services as needed.
• Safely run underground equipment such as jacklegs, stopers, scissordecks, LHD units, boom trucks, and service vehicles.
• Track paste pours and stay in contact with the surface batch plant.
• Interpret paste letters and mine prints accurately.
• Carry out non-destructive testing on paste line parts and components.
• Take on other tasks assigned by the Frontline Supervisor.

Training and Education

• High school diploma.
• Underground Common Core Certificate.
• Completion of some construction specialty modules.
• U0004 Drill Rock.
• U0010 Muck with Load Haul Dump (LHD) Machine.
• U0011 Extend Services.
• U0024 Operate Utility Vehicle.
• U0028 Operate Scissor Lift.
• U0076 Perform Fill Placement.
• At least five years of mining experience, including three years in a construction-focused role.
• Training and licensing on the mine’s mobile equipment relevant to the job.
• Underground experience installing paste pipe systems.
