Role Overview
An opportunity is available to join the Operations team as a package handler in Southampton. The role supports the movement of parcels through a busy logistics environment, helping ensure shipments are processed accurately and on time.

Key Duties
- Process parcels by sorting, scanning, loading, and unloading them in a high-volume, fast-moving setting.
- Use the relevant tools, systems, and equipment whenever the job requires it.
- Work in line with health and safety rules and site procedures.
- Assist supervisors and colleagues with day-to-day operational tasks as needed.
Working Pattern
This is a 25-hour-per-week position with the following shifts: Monday to Thursday from 16:00 to 21:00, and Friday from 15:30 to 20:30.
Pay and Extra Pay
The hourly rate is £13.29. Additional premia are paid for hours worked between 19:00 and 22:00, and between 22:00 and 06:00.

You should be comfortable working as part of a team, able to complete the required training, and capable of communicating clearly in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and the ability to make quick, accurate decisions are also important.
