Job summary

Cornerstone Caregiving is a privately owned in-home care provider that has expanded rapidly in recent years. The organization’s mission is to help seniors remain in their own homes with comfort, dignity, and choice. It is looking for an accomplished Operating Director to take charge of growth for the South San Antonio branch, with support from the central team and other operating leaders.

Compensation and benefits

The position offers a competitive starting salary designed to help build and improve the office. In addition to base pay, the role includes a 20% quarterly cash profit share tied to office performance and growth. The company also provides paid health, dental, and vision coverage. On the operational side, you will have access to a company car, paid fuel, and a cell phone stipend. Unlimited PTO is available with corporate approval.

Role overview

This is a hands-on leadership position where you will run the branch independently while receiving ongoing training and support from the corporate team. You will be responsible for shaping the office’s growth, building relationships in the local referral network, ensuring smooth staffing, and maintaining a strong workplace culture.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the branch directly and manage day-to-day operations with corporate guidance and training.
• Create and implement a marketing strategy to position Cornerstone as a leading in-home care choice.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with referral sources such as hospitals, hospices, and senior living communities.
• Recruit, hire, and onboard staff while making sure shifts are covered and on-call needs are handled.
• Conduct in-home assessments, support intake conversations, and foster strong client relationships.
• Oversee the office budget and monitor financial performance through profit and loss reporting.
• Build a positive team environment by setting expectations, motivating staff, and strengthening morale.

• Demonstrated leadership experience, including responsibility for managing a team.

• Comfort working independently in a demanding, fast-moving setting.
