Role overview

This position is for a Night Hygiene Operative based at the Brackley site in Northamptonshire. You’ll be part of a busy FMCG production setting where cleanliness is essential to keep short shelf-life food products safe and production-ready.

Pay and benefits

The role offers pay of £13.65 per hour, plus a shift premium of £2.00 per hour. Wages are paid weekly. Overtime is available, and the expected weekly earnings are at least £602.525. There is also a £500 referral reward for each friend or family member you successfully refer, subject to terms and conditions.

Working pattern

The shift pattern is 4O4O, with working hours from 6pm to 6am.

What the job involves

You will work in a noisy, refrigerated, fast-moving manufacturing environment and help maintain hygiene standards that are critical to production. Your duties will include cleaning the factory to the required standard in line with company cleaning instruction cards, using chemicals and jet washers to clean machinery before production starts, and wiping equipment down after the full clean so that no residue remains. You’ll also need to follow department cleaning standards and complete tasks within the required time so production can begin on schedule.

What you need

To succeed in this role, you should have a good command of English and basic number skills. You’ll need to work well as part of a team, communicate clearly, show strong attention to detail, and be adaptable when priorities change. Previous experience in production or manufacturing is helpful but not required, as full training will be provided.
