About the Role
Join a diverse and inclusive team in a role focused on delivering a distinctive minibar experience for guests. This position supports inventory control, stock accuracy, and operational coordination in a hospitality setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and replenish minibar inventory, subject to approval from the Minibar Assistant Manager.
- Keep par stock at the required level and ensure stock availability.
- Record postings accurately in Opera based on actual consumption and replenishment reports.
- Look into and resolve discrepancies or disputes raised by guests or operational teams.
- Review the expiry tracking list every day and flag items nearing expiry so replacements can be arranged in time.
- Maintain daily opening and closing stock counts.
- Arrange or support equipment upkeep and routine cleaning of the office area.
- Oversee Minibar GSA activities and make sure delivered items are stored correctly and tracked properly.
Requirements
- A diploma in any discipline is preferred.
- No prior work experience is necessary, as training will be provided.
- Experience in warehousing, logistics, or hospitality will be a plus.
- Ability to read and write in English.
- Comfortable using basic Microsoft applications and generally computer-literate.
- Tech-savvy candidates will have an added advantage.
- Prepared to work rotating shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and overnight shifts, as well as public holidays.
- Must present a neat and professional appearance.
- Willing to work an alternating 5- and 6-day work week.
