Role Overview

This position leads medical administration at the unit level, with responsibility for maintaining clinical governance, service quality, and coordination across medical as well as non-medical functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the unit-level guardian of clinical protocols and uphold strong standards of patient care.
• Coordinate between medical and non-medical teams to support consistent service quality.
• Set performance benchmarks for doctors and consultants and track adherence to them.
• Drive implementation of SOPs across all clinical specialties and carry out routine medical audits.
• Ensure that procedures for patient admission, treatment, and discharge are clearly defined and effectively followed.
• Establish and support the regular operation of clinical committees in consultation with the Centre Head.
• Participate in other committees whenever required or formally assigned.
• Oversee diagnostic services to maintain expected quality levels.
• Maintain proper medical records and ensure patient documentation remains accurate and confidential.
