About the Role
An established construction group in Saudi Arabia is growing its Tendering and Estimation function and is looking to hire experienced Mechanical MEP Estimation Engineers. There are multiple openings across Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam.
The compensation package can go up to SAR 15,000 per month, with the total package covering base pay and fixed allowances.

Role Overview
This position is intended for professionals who have built their careers specifically in Tendering, Estimation, or Pre-Contracts departments. Applicants whose experience is mainly in Site Engineering, Project Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Technical Office, Commercial, or Project Management will not be shortlisted.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine tender packs, drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
- Assess project scope and develop precise cost estimates.
- Carry out detailed quantity take-offs.
- Build up rates and prepare pricing schedules.
- Request and compare quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Draft technical and commercial tender submissions.
- Handle tender clarifications with clients and consultants.
- Contribute to value engineering and cost-saving initiatives.
- Assist with negotiations and follow-up after tender submission.
- Transfer awarded work to the Operations team.
Required Experience and Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 8 years of experience in dedicated Tendering, Estimation, or Pre-Contracts teams.
- Strong contractor-side background is essential.
- Proven responsibility for the full tender cycle, from receipt of tender documents to final submission.
- Solid estimation exposure across most of the following areas: HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting, chilled water systems, water supply and drainage, mechanical plant rooms, mechanical infrastructure, and piping systems.
- Good knowledge of BOQs, quantity take-offs, cost estimating, RFQs for suppliers and subcontractors, technical proposals, commercial proposals, pricing strategy, and tender clarifications.

- Experience with main contractors.
- Experience with MEP contractors.
- Experience with design-and-build contractors.
- Exposure to large building projects.
- Exposure to industrial and infrastructure projects.
- Saudi Arabia or GCC experience is preferred.
