Role overview

OVO Luxury Signature is hiring an experienced Master Cutter to join its production team in Dubai Investment Park, Dubai, UAE. This is an immediate-joiner opportunity within the luxury women’s fashion and manufacturing space. The position suits a highly skilled professional who has worked extensively with premium women’s wear, including couture pieces, evening gowns, dresses, abayas, and made-to-measure garments.

Key responsibilities

• Create precise patterns based on design drawings, body measurements, and technical requirements.
• Cut materials accurately while making the best use of fabric and keeping waste to a minimum.
• Work closely with designers, tailors, and production staff during sample creation and garment manufacturing.
• Carry out fittings and refine patterns so the final fit and finish meet the highest standards.
• Verify that all cut pieces comply with the company’s quality expectations before they move into production.
• Offer technical support to the production team and help solve fitting or manufacturing issues.
• Keep detailed records for patterns, measurement charts, and production-related documentation.
• Contribute to better production methods, stronger quality control, and smoother workflow efficiency.

Qualifications and experience

• A minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Master Cutter in luxury women’s fashion or couture manufacturing.
• Strong hands-on expertise in pattern making, garment construction, fitting, grading, and fabric cutting.
• Prior work on evening gowns, couture, bridal wear, abayas, or high-end ready-to-wear collections is required.
• Solid understanding of luxury textiles and garment production methods.
• Excellent eye for detail, high accuracy, and strong troubleshooting ability.
• Comfortable working under pressure and delivering within production timelines.
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a team.
• Experience using digital pattern-making tools will be considered an advantage.
