About the Role

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Manufacturing Technician II to join its Marsiling, Singapore site. This position supports manufacturing operations in a fully onsite production environment and follows a standard Monday to Friday schedule. The role contributes to work that helps make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer by supporting the assembly, testing, quality, and process efficiency of products used in scientific and healthcare applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble and test products to confirm they meet all specified requirements.
  • Partner with supervisors and engineers to help maintain the expected standards for quality, waste control, and operational efficiency.
  • Investigate and resolve defective products or components so that final output meets specification.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts focused on product quality and workflow efficiency.
  • Keep documentation aligned with ISO9001, MDSAP, ISO14001, ISO13485, QSR21CFR Part 820, and ISO45001 requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and safety-compliant work area.
  • Provide training to Technicians, Associate Technicians, and Manufacturing staff on assembly and testing activities.

Education and Experience

A high school diploma or an equivalent qualification is required. The role expects at least 3 years of experience in manufacturing, operations, production, laboratory work, or a similar field. Prior exposure to a cGMP environment is preferred, and experience with mass spectrometry is also an advantage.
