Role overview
Haus Labs is a modern makeup brand that blends skincare benefits, strong performance, and inclusive beauty standards. Backed by innovation and founded by Lady Gaga, the company develops products designed to work beautifully while being formulated with skin in mind.
The Social Media Manager will own the daily strategy and execution for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Pinterest. This person will help translate major marketing priorities into engaging, social-first content while working closely with the Creative team, especially the Associate Social Art Director, as well as other cross-functional partners.
The role is responsible for community management, user-generated content strategy, social content planning, publishing, and reporting on performance. The right candidate will be highly organized, adaptable, detail-oriented, and able to manage several priorities at once in a fast-moving environment.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day publishing and operations across social platforms so content goes live accurately, on schedule, and in line with brand priorities.
- Build and maintain the monthly social calendar in support of omnichannel marketing plans and business goals.
- Source and coordinate content creators, prepare creator briefs that reflect the brand voice and strategy, and manage timing, deliverables, and invoicing.
- Create channel-specific approaches and tailor content so it performs well on each platform.
- Keep social calendars and planning documents current as priorities change.
- Use Dash Social for competitor research, social analysis, and performance reporting to identify insights and shape strategy.
- Set up and manage tracking links for website promotions, campaigns, and new product launches.
- Organize and maintain the social content library for efficient reuse across channels.
- Review content before it is published and coordinate with internal teams to confirm accuracy and alignment.
- Check live content for quality, including correctness, image resolution, and link functionality.
- Partner with Creative, Retail Marketing, Influencer, and Digital teams to support campaigns across the business.
- Work with the Associate Social Art Director to develop social-first ideas and concepts.
- Capture behind-the-scenes content for events, launches, and other brand moments when needed.
- Track trends, competitor activity, and broader shifts in the social landscape to help evolve channel strategy.
- Handle community management across all social channels with accurate, timely, and brand-consistent responses.
- Stay available for community management during key periods, including holidays, evenings, and weekends.
- Engage with comments, tags, mentions, and direct messages to build meaningful audience relationships.
- Monitor community sentiment and discussions using social listening tools to surface trends, feedback, and opportunities.
- Reply thoughtfully to audience questions, comments, and concerns.
- Keep up with platform trends and behaviors, and recommend ways to strengthen engagement and community growth.
Requirements
- Experience in a similar social media role, preferably in the beauty or fashion industry, with at least 5 years of relevant work.
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Strong organization skills and the ability to handle multiple projects and shifting priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences and platforms.
- Solid understanding of social media best practices, trends, and platform behavior.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment where priorities may change frequently.
- Genuine interest in makeup, skincare, lifestyle, wellness, and culture.
- Willingness to monitor social channels outside regular business hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Experience with social analytics tools and using data to guide strategy.
- Ability to work in a hybrid setup with 3 days per week in the office.
- Ability to share case studies showing campaigns or PR programs managed from start to finish.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong focus on well-structured partnerships, careful budget management, and clear outcome tracking.
