Role Summary
The Mahila Career Advisor position in Kurnool is a full-time, site-based role centered on helping women and other candidates plan and progress their careers in insurance and financial services. The advisor will explain LIC career opportunities, clarify role expectations, and support applicants in understanding growth paths and skill requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct individual and group guidance sessions for aspiring candidates, with a focus on women’s career development.
- Explain LIC career options, job profiles, progression routes, and the competencies needed for success.
- Plan and run workshops, orientation meetings, and awareness sessions.
- Keep accurate records of counseling interactions, follow-ups, and related activities.
- Work closely with nearby LIC offices and coordinate with training teams.
- Provide consistent career support and help spread awareness of LIC opportunities in the Kurnool area.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Background in career counseling or student counseling, with the ability to guide people effectively.
- Capability in career development and career management to support long-term growth.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for clear, respectful, and empathetic interaction.
- Prior exposure to counseling, education, human resources, or similar advisory work is preferred.
- Good people skills, cultural awareness, and the ability to earn trust across diverse communities.
- Comfort with on-site work in Kurnool and direct engagement with local stakeholders and candidates.
- A diploma or degree in psychology, social work, education, or any graduate field is helpful.
- Basic computer proficiency and the ability to maintain reports and records are an advantage.
