Role Overview

Carrier is hiring a Logistics Associate to support its Supply Chain function in Mecca, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This position calls for a highly organized professional who can manage logistics activities, inventory processes, shipment coordination, customs clearance support, and material movement tracking with precision and speed.

The right candidate should be proactive, analytical, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment where accuracy, compliance, and timely execution matter.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and organize the shipping and customs paperwork needed to help shipments clear and move on time.
• Work with customs officials, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics partners to keep deliveries moving smoothly.
• Enter and maintain logistics and inventory data accurately and without delay.
• Assist production control, inventory control, and purchasing teams in keeping operations efficient and precise.
• Compile monthly reports covering materials and equipment, including spare parts, tools, and test equipment stock.
• Receive, check, count, and log inventory items in line with company procedures.
• Release materials, products, parts, and supplies according to approved requests.
• Track the inflow and outflow of materials and supplies to support correct stock allocation and replenishment.
• Coordinate material receiving activities with third-party logistics providers.
• Keep complete records of shipping documents, transport expenses, vendor dispatches, and service provider invoices.
• Support billing and finance teams with accurate transportation and logistics cost details.
• Ensure all logistics work follows company policies, internal procedures, and relevant regulations.

Qualifications and Experience

A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related discipline is preferred. Equivalent education combined with relevant experience may also be considered.

Applicants should have 1 to 3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, inventory management, or a similar area. Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply.

Skills and Competencies

The ideal candidate should bring strong organization, time management, attention to detail, multitasking ability, communication skills, coordination skills, problem-solving capability, and analytical thinking. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, and Outlook is important. Exposure to ERP systems, especially SAP, is an added advantage. A basic understanding of inventory control, purchasing, transportation, and customs procedures is also useful.
