Landscape Engineering Manager

Job purpose

This role is focused on leading landscape operations, projects, and asset management across assigned sites. The aim is to deliver consistently high standards in service quality, sustainability, safety, and cost control while strengthening client relationships and improving landscape systems and processes.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the full delivery of landscape maintenance and improvement services, covering horticulture, irrigation systems, pest control, and hardscape activities.
• Make sure all landscape assets meet required standards for appearance, functionality, sustainability, and safety.
• Build and run preventive maintenance plans for irrigation networks, planting, turf, and associated infrastructure.
• Promote water-saving measures, intelligent irrigation methods, and wider sustainability initiatives.
• Maintain strong client communication through regular updates, reporting, and quick resolution of operational issues.
• Assess landscape drawings and technical submittals, and contribute to value engineering and enhancement initiatives.
• Coordinate and supervise third-party contractors, suppliers, and internal landscape teams.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, purchasing, and cost-reduction efforts.
• Ensure all activities comply with HSE requirements, environmental standards, and local authority rules.
• Prepare operational and performance reports and support ongoing service improvement.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Landscape Engineering, Horticulture, Agricultural Engineering, or a closely related discipline is required.
• Professional certifications in irrigation or project management are preferred.
• A valid UAE driving license is required.

Experience

The position calls for 8 to 12 years of experience in landscape engineering, operations, or project delivery. Candidates should have solid hands-on exposure to irrigation systems, horticulture, water management, and contractor supervision. Experience in the UAE or wider GCC region is preferred.
