Role overview

This position sits within the Plant and Tool division, which supplies customers in the construction, utilities and infrastructure sectors with hire equipment such as diggers, dumpers and smaller tools. The role is based in the depot and combines yard support with driving duties.

What you will do

The Labourer/Driver will help keep the workshop and yard safe, clean and organised, making sure equipment is put away properly and that potential hazards are removed. Before equipment leaves the depot, it must be pressure washed, refuelled and recorded correctly in the fuel logs. The job also includes loading, delivering and collecting hire equipment from customer locations in a timely and professional way. On site, you may also be asked to demonstrate equipment and complete all hiring checks and paperwork accurately.

What we are looking for

Applicants should have prior experience in a labouring role, ideally gained in a hire depot or yard setting. You should be a dependable team player who is happy to take on extra tasks when needed and able to work independently in a busy environment while keeping a sharp eye on detail.
