Junior QC/QA Engineer – Construction & Fit-Out

Job Summary

This role is for a Junior QC/QA Engineer who will support quality assurance and quality control activities across construction and interior fit-out projects. The position focuses on making sure site works follow approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and inspection/test plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out site inspections for civil works, blockwork, plastering, and interior fit-out activities.
• Verify that ongoing work matches approved drawings, method statements, ITPs, and submitted materials.
• Handle the preparation, tracking, and closure of MIRs, WIRs, NCRs, and QA/QC documentation.
• Keep quality-related records up to date and support completion and handover file preparation.
• Work closely with site engineers, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve quality concerns.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline is required.
• Prior UAE experience of 2 to 5 years in construction or fit-out projects is expected.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and QA/QC processes is needed.
• Familiarity with site inspection procedures and quality documentation workflows is important.
• Strong English communication skills and confidence using MS Office are required.

Experience requirement: 2–5 years in the UAE.
