Role overview
Ventaris Surgical is looking for a Junior Data Analyst who is highly detail-driven and comfortable turning raw data into useful business insight. The role supports decision-making through data collection, analysis, reporting, and business intelligence work. The right candidate will bring strong analytical thinking, a problem-solving mindset, and genuine interest in using data to help the organization meet its goals.
What you will do
- Gather data from multiple sources, then organize, clean, and verify it for analysis.
- Study datasets to surface trends, patterns, and actionable business observations.
- Build reports, dashboards, and summary views for internal stakeholders.
- Check data quality regularly and carry out routine validation reviews.
- Help maintain spreadsheets, databases, and reporting workflows.
- Contribute to forecasting, planning, and broader performance analysis tasks.
- Develop charts, visuals, and presentations that explain findings clearly.
- Work with different teams to understand reporting needs and business priorities.
- Spot improvement opportunities by examining data and related processes.
- Record analysis methods, conclusions, and reporting steps for future use.
What we are looking for

- Good command of Microsoft Excel and core data analysis methods.
- Working knowledge of SQL, databases, and reporting applications.

Preferred background
A bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Finance, Information Systems, or a closely related discipline is preferred. Prior exposure through internships, academic projects, research work, reporting tasks, or other data-focused assignments is considered an advantage. Familiarity with business intelligence software, data visualization tools, and statistical applications will be helpful. Experience handling large datasets and preparing analytical reports is also preferred.
