Junior Business Analyst

Overview

Codelynks is hiring a Junior Business Analyst for a permanent, full-time onsite role in Cochin, Saskatchewan, Canada. This position is suited to professionals with 1 to 3 years of experience who can help project teams capture business needs, study workflows, and turn requirements into clear documentation that supports successful delivery.

Responsibilities

• Work with teams to collect, record, and refine business requirements through discussions, interviews, and workshops.
• Partner with clients, developers, and project managers to maintain alignment on project goals and expectations.
• Review existing business processes, create process maps, and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Draft functional specifications and use cases to support solution design.
• Assist development and testing teams by explaining requirements and sharing supporting documents.
• Contribute to project proposals, business cases, and feasibility assessments.
• Help monitor project status and prepare updates for stakeholders.
• Research business topics and analyze information to support decision-making.
• Keep up with current trends, methods, and best practices in business analysis.

Requirements

• 1 to 3 years of experience working as a Business Analyst or in a similar position.
• Strong ability to analyze problems and arrive at practical solutions.
• Very good spoken and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of business analysis tools such as MS Excel, MS Visio, and JIRA.
• Ability to explain complex processes in a structured and understandable way.
• Hands-on experience in requirement gathering, documentation, and process mapping.
• Good organizational skills and the capacity to manage several tasks and priorities at once.
• Basic understanding of SDLC and agile development practices.
