Job Purpose

This role supports the daily running of operations and ensures service reports are reviewed and delivered to the client on time. It also involves preparing and tracking client quotations, as well as following up on agreements with clients and suppliers. The position requires keeping client response times strong through coordination with the team, while helping maintain high customer satisfaction and supporting Enova’s wider business goals. The role also includes contributing to engineering work such as high-level electrical drawings, specifications, calculations, charts, graphs, cost estimates, quantity take-offs, manpower planning, forecasts, and change orders.

Key Accountabilities

The position calls for a solid understanding of how engineering is applied in plant and building operations and maintenance. Work is carried out largely on an independent basis, with general direction provided on expected outcomes and support from the Department Manager or Line Manager for unusual or complex issues.

  • Identify engineered solutions for repeated electrical issues.
  • Improve plant and equipment reliability through trend analysis and better maintenance practices.
  • Lead or contribute to failure analysis and vulnerability studies.
  • Implement predictive and preventive maintenance strategies.
  • Compile reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Keep technical knowledge current through workshops, publications, professional networks, and societies.
  • Prepare accurate and timely departmental statements and reports in line with requirements, policies, and standards.
  • Follow all quality, health, safety, and environmental procedures to protect employees, maintain service quality, and ensure environmental compliance.
  • Work with the HSEQ team to develop standard operating procedures.
  • Issue incident reports promptly to the HSEQ department.
  • Support HSEQ staff in incident investigations.
  • Complete and update the HIRA with support from HSEQ staff.
  • Apply risk controls identified through the HIRA process.
  • Deliver toolbox talks and SOP training when supervisors need support on a topic.
  • Help prepare the annual schedule for toolbox and SOP training with HSEQ support.
  • Ensure applicable emergency tests are carried out.
  • Carry out any other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

A bachelor’s degree in engineering is required, with at least a four-year program. Candidates should have 2 to 4 years of experience in technical maintenance, preferably within facilities management and with exposure to both electrical and mechanical engineering.
