About the Role
This is a remote contract opportunity with a company that works with highly skilled creative and technical professionals on projects for AI research teams. The organization is based in San Francisco and is backed by well-known investors including Benchmark, General Catalyst, Peter Thiel, Adam D'Angelo, Larry Summers, and Jack Dorsey.
Position Details
The assignment is for a Private Equity Expert profile. It is structured as a contract role with compensation set at $130 per hour. The engagement is remote, runs for a minimum of four weeks, and requires at least 10 hours of work each week.
Responsibilities
- Assess financial models and use the findings to improve the quality of AI-generated outputs.
- Examine market sizing work and total addressable market analysis to ensure it fits investment objectives.
- Prepare detailed investment summaries and memos that support decision-making.
- Contribute to CIM preparation and due diligence tasks while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
- Handle NDA and other legal documents quickly to keep deal activity moving.
- Identify prospective deals and offer strategic input on investment opportunities.
Qualifications
- At least two years of experience in private equity at leading firms.
- Strong capability in financial modeling or market sizing/TAM analysis.
- Experience creating investment summaries and memos.
- Practical exposure to CIM preparation and due diligence.
- Ability to review and process NDA and legal documentation.
- Deal sourcing experience and the ability to evaluate opportunities.
Compensation and Legal
- This is an hourly contractor arrangement.
- Payment is issued on a weekly basis.
