Internal Salesperson

Role overview

We are looking for an Internal Salesperson to join the Wagga Wagga branch and support customers while helping drive the team’s commercial performance. This position focuses on inside sales and customer support, acting as a key contact for customer needs and ensuring requests are handled quickly, accurately, and professionally.

This role includes a rotating Saturday roster, generally covering 1 to 3 Saturdays each month depending on staffing levels.

Key duties

• Provide responsive customer support by phone, email, and face to face.
• Prepare and process orders, quotations, and customer enquiries with speed and accuracy.
• Work closely with the external sales team on quotations and account coordination.
• Build long-term customer relationships and recommend solutions that suit their needs.
• Assist with stock control, inventory monitoring, and replenishment tasks.

Experience and skills

• Background in internal sales or customer service is strongly preferred.
• Confident verbal and written communication, with strong people skills.
• Availability to work on a Saturday roster is essential.
• Able to juggle several priorities in a busy, fast-moving environment.
• Proactive, practical, and focused on finding solutions.
• Comfortable using computers at an intermediate level, including Microsoft Office.
• Forklift licence is an advantage, but not required.
• Knowledge of bearings and power transmission products is helpful, but not mandatory.
