About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Image Management Specialist to join our team in Kolkata, Bangalore, or Chennai. This role involves owning the design, build, and maintenance of golden images for various operating systems and environments, ensuring optimal performance and security.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the complete lifecycle of golden images for Windows 10/11 endpoints and AVD session hosts, including design, construction, hardening, and ongoing maintenance.
• Curate and manage essential applications, security policies, and performance optimizations within the golden images.
• Implement a robust image lifecycle management process, encompassing version control, thorough testing, phased rollouts, rollback strategies, and end-of-life procedures.
• Develop and maintain Windows Operating System Deployment (OSD) solutions using MECM/SCCM, including task sequences, WIM files, driver integration, BIOS/UEFI configuration, BitLocker pre-provisioning, and WinRE/OOBE customization.
• Manage Windows Autopilot for zero-touch provisioning, supporting both pre-provisioning and white-glove deployment scenarios.
• Utilize Intune configuration profiles as a modern, image-less management alternative.
• Define and implement macOS configuration baselines using Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions like Jamf, Intune, or Kandji, focusing on profiles, Privacy Preferences Policy Control (PPPC), Transparency, Consent, and Control (TCC), system extensions, FileVault escrow, and application sets.
• Engineer and optimize Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) images, incorporating FSLogix profiles, RDP policies, and GPU settings where relevant.
• Manage Azure Image Builder and Packer pipelines for image creation and deployment.
• Implement MSIX App Attach for application delivery in AVD environments.

Requirements

• Proven experience in designing, building, and maintaining golden images for Windows 10/11 endpoints and AVD session hosts.
• Proficiency with MECM/SCCM for Windows OSD, including task sequences and WIM management.
• Experience with Windows Autopilot and Intune for modern endpoint management.
• Familiarity with macOS configuration and MDM solutions (Jamf, Intune, Kandji).
• Knowledge of AVD image engineering, FSLogix, and RDP policies.
• Experience with Azure Image Builder and Packer.
• Understanding of MSIX App Attach.
