HR Specialist

Role summary

This is a part-time remote HR Specialist opportunity supporting one of the client organizations served by Hire Feed. The position is designed for someone with prior experience in human resources or a closely related area who can help manage day-to-day workforce support tasks.

What the role involves

The person in this role will help handle employee questions, keep HR documentation organized and accurate, and support adherence to employment laws and internal policies. The work is fully remote and can be performed from anywhere in the United States.

Key duties

• Answer employee queries related to benefits, workplace policies, and internal procedures.
• Keep personnel records complete, accurate, and confidential, including employee files and supporting documents.
• Support onboarding and exit processes for employees joining or leaving the company.
• Track compliance with applicable federal, state, and local labor requirements.
• Work with management to resolve workplace concerns and recommend improvements to HR processes.

Required background and skills

Applicants should have prior experience in an HR support or similar role. Solid knowledge of HR policies and employment legislation is needed, along with the ability to stay organized, manage time well, and treat sensitive information carefully. Experience using HR systems or databases is considered an advantage.

Compensation

The payout for this part-time position is $10 to $36 per hour.
