Job overview
The Muthoot Group is looking for a proactive and detail-focused HR Executive & Recruiter to support end-to-end hiring and day-to-day human resources operations. This role combines talent acquisition, employee coordination, record management, onboarding support, and other HR activities aimed at creating a smooth employee experience.
Location
Thane and Goregaon, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
Recruitment and talent acquisition
- Manage the full hiring cycle, starting from sourcing candidates through to onboarding.
- Create and publish job ads across hiring portals, social platforms, and other recruitment channels.
- Review applications, conduct first-round interviews, and arrange further interviews with hiring managers.
- Develop and maintain a strong pool of candidates for immediate and future hiring requirements.
- Handle offer discussions and support the joining process and related formalities.
- Track recruitment progress and maintain hiring reports and metrics.
Human resources operations
- Support employee onboarding and orientation activities.
- Maintain HR records, employee files, and database documentation.
- Manage attendance and leave-related tasks and respond to HR queries.
- Assist with performance management and employee engagement initiatives.
- Help ensure adherence to company policies and labor law requirements.
- Coordinate learning, training, and development programs.
- Prepare HR reports and MIS support documents.
Employee relations
- Help build a healthy workplace culture and strong employee relationships.
- Address employee concerns and escalate matters when needed.
- Support employee engagement drives, activities, and events.
Qualifications and experience
The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline, along with 1 to 4 years of relevant experience in recruitment and HR operations. The candidate should understand recruitment methods and HR best practices, be comfortable using HRMS tools and job portals, and have strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and multitasking abilities. Good working knowledge of MS Office applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is also expected.
Preferred profile
Experience in bulk hiring and lateral recruitment is preferred. Familiarity with labour laws, statutory compliance, fast-paced work environments, negotiation, and stakeholder handling will be an advantage.
Performance expectations
Success in this role will be measured through time taken to fill vacancies, quality of hires, onboarding completion levels, achievement of recruitment targets, and contribution to employee satisfaction and retention.
Compensation
Pay will be aligned with industry standards and the candidate’s experience.
