Homecare Staff

Role Overview

Spread Your Wings LLC is looking for a full-time Homecare Staff member in Lompoc, CA. This is an on-site role focused on helping clients live safely and comfortably while building a long-term career in care. No prior experience is necessary, as training will be provided.

Work Schedule

You can choose your own 8-hour shift on any day of the week within the 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM window. This role offers long-term employment.

Compensation

The pay rate for this position is $19.50 per hour.

Eligibility and Job Fit

A caregiver certificate is not required. This role is specifically for a male employee, while other openings are available for female candidates. A valid driver's license is required.

What You Will Do

You will support individuals in their homes or apartments by helping maintain a safe, encouraging, and structured environment. The role includes guidance, monitoring, and teaching around daily routines and living skills.

About the Work

Spread Your Wings Direct Care Staff and Supportive Living Staff help create a supportive setting that promotes clients' quality of life. The work is centered on encouraging independence, dignity, and respectful care.

Responsibilities

• Support, supervise, and coach individuals in completing daytime activities and maintaining appropriate personal hygiene and behavior at home
• Help with grocery shopping, meal planning, meal preparation, and cleaning up afterward
• Encourage and guide clients who may have developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges
• Organize tasks and routines that help clients stay on track toward their personal goals

Ideal Candidate

• Experience supporting people with behavioral needs is an advantage
• Previous caregiving experience with friends or family is also a plus
• Genuine interest in helping others with patience and respect
• Strong problem-solving ability and flexibility to adjust to different needs
• Clear communication skills and a dependable work style
• Comfortable working independently in one-to-one settings
• Willingness to learn and develop in the role
