Role overview

Iceland Foods is seeking a Home Delivery Driver in Christchurch, England. This is an active, customer-facing role for someone who enjoys being on the road, working independently, and staying engaged throughout the day. The position pays £13.71 per hour.

What you’ll be doing

• Loading the van safely and following correct manual handling practices, including managing heavier items carefully.
• Driving in line with safe road-use standards at all times.
• Carrying out vehicle checks before and during use.
• Making sure groceries reach customers in excellent condition.
• Delivering a high standard of customer service as the representative of Iceland.
• Helping out in the store when needed.
• Working on your own and organising your time effectively.
• Being flexible with shift patterns, which may run between 6:00 am and 11:00 pm.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who has a positive attitude, enjoys helping people, and can work to deadlines while maintaining strong road safety awareness. A full driving licence is required, and it must have been held for at least 3 years with no more than 6 penalty points.
