Role overview
This is a senior leadership appointment for a Head of Operations Excellence focused on digital operations. The role is responsible for strengthening operational performance, workforce planning, governance, and productivity transformation across a digital business environment.
The position calls for someone who can oversee budget and headcount planning, improve how resources are used, shape operating models, and introduce intelligence and automation capabilities that support better delivery outcomes.
Workforce productivity and resource optimization
- Create practical frameworks to track engineering and delivery productivity and improve it over time.
- Lead initiatives that improve capacity planning, utilization, and output across teams.
Strategic planning and financial governance
- Run annual and quarterly planning processes covering budget, headcount, and cost efficiency.
- Monitor how resources are allocated and ensure they support delivery results.
- Oversee financial governance for the build portfolio while keeping it aligned to business priorities.
Operating model and ways of working
- Design, document, and continuously refine the operating model, governance framework, and working practices for the digital business.
- Introduce standardized processes that improve consistency and execution.
- Promote the adoption of agile, DevOps, and scalable delivery methods.
Intelligence, automation, and transformation
- Spearhead the rollout of productivity tools, dashboards, and automation solutions.
- Support data-led decisions through management reporting, performance metrics, and predictive insights.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of experience in banking and financial services, digital platforms, operations, COO office functions, transformation, or program governance.
- A strong record of managing budgets, headcount planning, and cost control in technology or digital transformation settings.
- Demonstrated ability to shape operating models and improve workforce efficiency.
- Strong strategic judgment paired with the ability to execute effectively.
- Good understanding of technology delivery approaches such as Agile and DevOps, especially in digital build environments.
- Familiarity with productivity measures and operational KPIs.
- Experience using automation, analytics, and management reporting tools.

This opportunity is based in Singapore and is a full-time, onsite role.
