Your Role
As the Head of Research & Development (R&D), you will shape the technological future of our company. With strategic foresight, technological excellence, and a strong focus on innovation, you will continuously advance our R&D organization, define the technological guidelines for our product landscape, and create the conditions for sustainable growth, scalability, and market success.
Your Mission
- Develop and implement the overall technological strategy.
- Define and enforce architectural and platform decisions.
- Manage product development and the roadmap.
- Prioritize development initiatives and projects.
- Introduce and manage target systems (e.g., OKRs).
- Advance processes and organizational structures (e.g., PEP, Stage-Gate).
- Lead and develop central R&D functions at a technical level.
- Collaborate with the Lead People R&D to ensure implementation capability.
Your Success Formula
- Completed degree in a technical field (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent).
- Extensive experience in developing complex systems.
- Several years of leadership experience in Research & Development.
- Experience with platform and architecture strategies.
- Experience working with agile methodologies and organizational forms.
- Excellent German and English language proficiency, both written and spoken.
