Head of Data Products & Engineering

Role overview

This leadership role sits within a prominent financial services organisation in Dubai. The position is focused on creating and scaling a modern enterprise Data & AI function that supports business transformation and better decision-making across the firm.

What you will do

• Take a practical, build-oriented approach by creating prototypes, automations, and production-ready data solutions.
• Shape and deliver the organisation-wide strategy and roadmap for data, analytics, automation, and artificial intelligence.
• Develop and improve the enterprise data warehouse along with reliable reporting and analytics layers.
• Set up and grow an AI Factory, including agent-based workflows and internal copilot solutions.
• Work closely with senior leaders in investments, finance, and technology to modernise operating practices and ways of working.

What the organisation is looking for

• At least 15 years of experience spanning data, analytics, automation, or AI, preferably within financial services.
• Deep familiarity with investment and financial data, reporting processes, and related systems.
• A strong history of building enterprise-scale data platforms and full-stack applications.
• Hands-on technical capability with contemporary data, BI, automation, and AI tools.
• A degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Finance, or a closely related field.
