Role overview
WSP is seeking an experienced GIS and CAD support specialist to join its Riyadh team. The position is key to delivering technical assistance for GIS and CAD applications used in road and infrastructure projects, while working closely with supervision consultants to keep project information accurate, organized, and easy to interpret.
Key responsibilities
- Build, update, and manage GIS and CAD datasets for road and infrastructure assignments.
- Support users with GIS and CAD tools by diagnosing issues and resolving technical problems.
- Work with supervision consultants to embed GIS and CAD information into project outputs and deliverables.
- Produce maps, drawings, and visual presentations that help guide planning and execution.
- Maintain consistency and precision across all GIS and CAD systems and project records.
- Draft, revise, and organize GIS and CAD-related documentation, technical reports, and project files.
- Help train and support colleagues in the use of GIS and CAD applications.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or another closely related discipline.
- At least 12 years of hands-on experience supporting GIS and CAD work, with a focus on road and infrastructure projects.
- Background in collaborating with supervision consultants and handling complex project datasets.
- Strong working knowledge of GIS and CAD platforms such as ArcGIS and AutoCAD, along with related tools.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting ability, with close attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
