General Claims Specialist

Overview

We are hiring a General Claims Specialist for our Doha office in Qatar. This role focuses on managing insurance claims with accuracy, speed, and professionalism while supporting smooth coordination between stakeholders.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain productive working relationships with insurance carriers and loss adjusters.
• Handle claims cases efficiently and escalate unresolved matters when necessary.
• Coordinate with insurers to uphold service expectations and close pending claims.
• Review declined claims again to determine whether the file is complete and if the claim meets eligibility criteria.
• Follow all legal obligations, sector regulations, and company quality standards.

Profile We’re Looking For

• A bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Business Administration, or a similar field.
• Hands-on background in general claims handling or processing.
• Good understanding of general insurance products, coverage terms, and applicable regulations.
• Solid awareness of the insurance regulatory environment in Qatar.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
