Garment Technician

Role overview

This opportunity is with a well-established wholesale and fashion business that also operates its own brand. The team works across a broad apparel mix, including denim, dresses, woven styles, and corporate wear for leading clients. The role is based in Lane Cove and requires full-time, on-site attendance, with parking available on site. The salary package is $90,000 to $95,000 plus superannuation.

What you will do

• Develop technical packs containing CAD visuals, construction details, measurement specifications, grading, labels, packaging, and any other supporting imagery needed.
• Produce technical artwork and drawings using Adobe Creative Suite.
• Lead fit sessions by giving clear, practical guidance so adjustments are made quickly and commercially.
• Check sample submissions carefully against specifications and carry out quality reviews on construction, fabric, and trims.
• Share fit feedback with production teams and keep spec sheets updated.
• Own, maintain, and enforce product specifications throughout the process.
• Work flexibly with other teams and introduce improved processes as business needs change.

What we are looking for

• Prior experience in a busy, high-output environment.
• At least 5 years working as a Garment Technician.
• Strong technical understanding across womenswear and menswear.
• A proactive, solutions-focused attitude and the ability to work well in a team.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Illustrator would be an advantage.

This is an in-office role based in Lane Cove, New South Wales, with on-site parking provided. Applicants must hold permanent, unrestricted working rights in Australia.
