Role Overview
Moxy Dublin Docklands in East Wharf, East Wall, Dublin 3 is seeking a motivated Front Office Supervisor to oversee the guest arrival experience and help drive a lively, service-led atmosphere. This position suits someone who enjoys leading a team, working in a busy hospitality setting, and making first impressions count.
Key Duties
- Oversee day-to-day front office activities, including arrivals, departures, and guest-facing services.
- Guide, coach, and back up the front office team so service levels remain consistently strong.
- Work closely with housekeeping and other hotel departments to keep operations running smoothly.
- Respond to guest questions, concerns, and special requests in a professional, upbeat manner.
- Track room inventory, reservation status, and billing accuracy.
- Cover front desk tasks whenever needed to ensure seamless service.
- Keep the team updated, engaged, and focused on daily targets.
Health, Safety & Hygiene
- Make sure all staff follow hygiene, safety, and operational safety procedures.
- Check that equipment is used correctly and escalate any problems without delay.
- Help maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming setting for both guests and colleagues.
Guest Service Approach
- Set the standard for warm, efficient, and friendly service that reflects the brand.
- Handle guest interactions with confidence, speed, and a positive attitude.
- Support a smooth guest journey from check-in through check-out.
Procedures, Standards & Improvement
- Ensure front office work is completed in line with Standard Operating Procedures.
- Help refresh team knowledge through training and regular reminders.
- Look for practical ways to improve efficiency and guest satisfaction.
Brand Standards, Flexibility & Communication
- Maintain Marriott and Moxy standards in presentation, service, and guest engagement.
- Be ready to support other departments when operational needs require it.
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with colleagues and management.
- Share updates, feedback, and performance observations with the leadership team.
- Take part in briefings and contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture.
Candidate Profile
This role is ideal for someone with prior experience in a front office supervisory or similar hospitality leadership position. You should be organised, detail-oriented, comfortable leading diverse teams, and able to solve problems quickly. A flexible schedule is important, including availability for weekends and holidays. Energy, initiative, and a genuine focus on guest experience are key.
