Freelance Proofreader (Remote)

Role Overview

This is a remote freelance proofreading opportunity for language professionals who can support the training and assessment of AI language models. The work is flexible, contract-based, and can be completed entirely from home on a schedule that you manage yourself.

Key Duties

• Review AI-produced text for clarity, correctness, and natural language flow.
• Draft brief prompts and original responses that help improve AI model training.
• Compare multiple AI outputs and score them using defined review standards.
• Share written observations on language quality and related issues.

Candidate Profile

• You should be fluent in both your target language and English.
• A bachelor’s degree or higher is preferred, especially in a humanities, language, or writing-focused discipline.
• Applicants should have professional experience in language-related work such as writing, teaching, translating, editing, annotating, tutoring, or similar roles.
• You will need strong accuracy, careful reading skills, and the ability to work from evaluation instructions.
• Experience in linguistics, academic writing, data annotation, or AI content review is considered an added advantage.

Compensation and Work Style

The pay can be as high as USD 29 per hour and is disbursed weekly. This is a fully remote position, offering the freedom to work from any location. The schedule is flexible, making it suitable for people seeking either a main income stream or supplementary earnings. This role is offered on a part-time contract basis.
