Overview
Stacked is hiring a Food Service Supervisor for its Truro, Nova Scotia location. This is a full-time, on-site role that must be performed at the physical workplace; remote work is not available.
Language
English is required for this position.
Education
A secondary school graduation certificate is required.
Experience
Applicants should have between 7 months and less than 1 year of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
- Set up work methods and schedules so operations run smoothly.
- Arrange purchasing of food items and kitchen supplies as needed.
- Train team members on job responsibilities, sanitation standards, and safety procedures.
- Recruit and hire food service employees.
- Make sure food quality and service standards are consistently met.
- Develop budget plans and cost estimates.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve concerns professionally.
- Keep accurate records covering inventory, repairs, sales, and waste.
- Prepare and submit required reports.
- Create and manage staff work schedules.
