Overview
Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a Floor Tech for a long-term care facility in West Point, MS. In this role, you will help keep flooring clean, safe, and visually presentable while supporting a positive experience for residents, staff, and visitors. HCSG emphasizes service, quality, and community impact, and is looking for someone who wants to contribute to that mission.
Responsibilities
- Carry out floor maintenance duties such as cleaning, polishing, buffing, and restoring floors in resident rooms, shared spaces, and office areas.
- Use floor care equipment in a safe and effective manner.
- Keep accurate records related to floor care work and notify a supervisor about maintenance concerns or safety hazards.
- Follow infection prevention rules and universal precautions to help maintain a hygienic environment.
- Interact respectfully and professionally with residents, employees, and guests, delivering strong customer service.
- Handle other duties as needed or assigned.

Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Prior experience in floor care is helpful but not mandatory.
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude and communicate well with residents, building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership while completing daily work.
- Must comply with COVID-19 vaccination requirements.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
- Must be able to perform repetitive tasks consistently.
- Must be able to work around food items and cleaning chemicals.
- Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions and complete routine tasks every day.
- Must live within the service area.
