Description de l'emploi
About the opportunity
We are seeking a practical, dependable Fleet Operations Driver to work shifts in Kiel and support the daily deployment of e-scooters so there is always a vehicle ready for customers to use.
About the company
Bolt operates in more than 45 countries across Europe and Africa and serves over 150 million users. The company focuses on building an inclusive workplace where people are welcomed regardless of race, colour, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, age, or ability. Its mission is to create cities designed for people rather than cars.
Role overview
In this role, you will help keep the city tidy and well-organised by moving e-scooters around the city, ensuring they are charged and safe, recovering scooters that are out of place, and bringing damaged ones back to the warehouse for repairs. Your work will directly support a reliable and high-quality transport experience.
Key responsibilities
- Drive vans to collect e-scooters, place them across the city, or replace batteries when needed.
- Make sure scooters are parked neatly so streets and sidewalks remain clear.
- Locate missing scooters, inspect their condition, and either return them to the warehouse or put them back into service in the city.
- Carry out small street-side fixes to keep more of the fleet available for customers.
- Support the warehouse operations team whenever additional help is required.
Candidate profile
You should be a confident and reliable driver with strong knowledge of the local area and a commitment to safe travel. Prior work as a professional driver can be an advantage. The role also calls for a hands-on attitude, ownership of tasks, comfort using smartphones and mechanical tools, and solid local language ability. English is helpful but not essential.
What matters most
Experience is welcome, but Bolt places greater value on motivation, intelligence, and integrity. Applicants who do not meet every criterion are still encouraged to apply if they can bring the right mindset and willingness to learn.
Why join Bolt
You will help shape the future of mobility, collaborate with fast-moving teams and highly skilled colleagues, and access strong opportunities for professional development. Benefits may include free Bolt scooter and ride-hailing credits, along with team events to help you connect with coworkers. Some benefits can vary by location and role.
